Best Knee Pain tips here : www.paulgoughphysio.com/knee-pain
Here’s an interesting story about a client I COULDN’T help…
“YES”!
…A client I.Could.Not.Help.
(Not in the way that most people would USUALLY judge the success of a Physio by anyway).
Read on…
Meet “Sanja”…
He’s a client of mine who I met some years back now when I was Physio at Darlington Football Club.
He came to me originally with a severely damaged ankle that he needed some help for as he was going on a family holiday, not long after he hurt it.
(Which I gave…)
And ever since then, he comes to see me whenever he has a problem.
(ALL of his family do too…)
I’ve helped his wife, his two boys AND his Mam and Dad who live all the way down in Leicester.
So over the years we’ve built up a “trust”.
And Sanja knows that whenever he comes to see me, he’s only going to get honest and very upfront answers from me about what needs to be done.
Now, this one time he came to see me with knee pain.
But it wasn’t the type of knee injury which was unlikely to be helped by Physio.
(NOT with their hands anyway…)
But what I WAS able to do for him, WITHIN minutes, was to give him a firm diagnosis, explain exactly what he’d done and how he’d done it, and advise him who he SHOULD go and see, to get his problem solved.
(Because I couldn’t do it…)
Sanja needed to see a Knee Surgeon to solve a torn cartilage in his knee. It’s a pretty common problem in people aged 45+ and will NEVER get better with rest and rarely with Physio.
What most people don’t know, is the real problem is if the “tear” isn’t cut out, then it’s going to increase the likely hood of early onset arthritis because of the extra “wear and tear” inside the joint.
And so it was VITAL that we got Sanja to the right man for the job, QUICK.
And although I couldn’t help him “per se” (with my hands like I usually could), I helped to find the right advice and put him in touch with the right man.
And sometimes, that’s what I a good Physio has too do.
It’s NOT about “trying” something that you secretly know ISN’T going to work…
(Not how I work…)
It’s about being up front and honest right at the beginning about what is best for my clients.
Kindly, Sanja has gone on video to share with you his story (in his own words) and he’ll tell you himself how HAPPY he was AND relieved, that he was finally able to get some solid answers about his knee injury.

Even though technically I’ve helped you out HUGELY, there would be NO requirement to pay at the end of your session.
(That would be for you to decide if I’ve helped you…)
